The gaskets are made of various sealing materials in different versions with or without auxiliary metallic rings. Suitable especially for flange joints with fluctuating pressures and temperatures and can withstand temperatures up to 1000 °C.

The gaskets are made of various sealing materials in different versions with or without auxiliary metallic rings. Gaskets completed with the metallic rings have the following advantages:
  1. High blowout resistance (up to 320 bar).
  2. The inner ring protects the gasket material against overheating, impurities from the media and also reduces the turbulence of the media in the pipeline.
  3. The outer ring centres the gasket in the flange and prevents it from being damaged when tightened.
Use:
The gaskets are particularly suited for flange joints with fluctuating pressures and temperatures, and can withstand temperatures up to 1000 °C depending on the material used.

  1. POWERgasket SWG - gasket without ring.
  2. POWERgasket SWG-IR - gasket with inner ring.
  3. POWERgasket SWG-OR - gasket with outer ring.
  4. POWERgasket SWG-IOR - gasket with inner and outer ring.

  • The spiral part of the gasket is made by co-winding the steel strip and the sealing material. The sealing material is most often expanded graphite, PTFE, ceramics or mica.
  • Ceramics or Mica are intended for extremely high temperatures and it is advisable to combine them with graphite to obtain better joint tightness.
